Lord God, thank you for being the light of my life (John 8:12). If it had not been for you, the enemy would have caused ME to wither. I look to you oh Lord, because you are my fortress, where I can find rest for my weary soul. Father God, I give thanks for you being who you are to ME. You are my light; you are my air; you are my way-maker; you are my peace; you are my heartbeat, simply my truth. I would be lost and bound for hell, if it was not for you.
Your promises are new every morning; I thank you because no one can love ME like you. I ask that, the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart, be acceptable in your sight (Psalms 19:14). You are my strength and redeemer; I cannot repay you but I give you my will to except your will, to do my reasonable service (Romans 12:1).
It is you Jesus who gives ME strength to endure life situations. I thank you because you promised to never leave ME, nor forsake ME (Hebrews 13:5). Though the enemy is always trying to draw ME away with various temptations: Your word teaches ME to stand fast to your promises. In Your Word, it teaches ME to turn all things over to you; it is you who fight my battles (Exodus 14:14).
Father, I give you thanks for who you are. Lord, you are good and your mercies endure forever (Lamentations 3:22-23). Lord God, thank you for not giving up on ME. Thank you for your forgiveness, so I can worship you with my whole heart. Making you my priority, I put my trust and faith in you.
I ask you Father to take out anything that is not pleasing unto you. Hear my cry, Lord God, I want to be whole through and through. It was your life that saved my life. It is written; no one knows the day or the hour when you shall appear (Matthew 24:36). Yet, I know I want to be ready when you come.
Father God, let your will be done in ME; this is my gratitude toward you.
