God Don’t Make Mistakes

God Don’t Make Mistakes

Deuteronomy 32:4 AMP

He is the Rock, His work is perfect, for all His ways are law and justice. A God of faithfulness without breach or deviation, just and right is He.

Ecclesiastes 3:14 AMP

I know that whatever God does, it endures forever; nothing can be added to it nor anything taken from it. And God does it so that men will [reverently] fear Him [revere and worship Him, knowing that He is].

Have you ever had someone out of the blue stop to talk to you and you think they are rambling on but you listen anyway? At some point while they are talking they say something that you know they should not know about you, an right then you know that it’s God. It happened to me about four years back an the small thing he said was so great in my heart it brought me to tears. As I shook the man’s hand I heard, “God don’t make mistakes.”

See we make plans for our lives. We have life long plans, yearly plans, monthly plans on down to our daily plans. And if we take a look back at our life those plans very seldom turned out exactly the way that we intended. Things happen, stuff gets in the way. But in God we have this anchor that we can hold on to and know that the plans and promises of God will turn out just as He has planned for us. His plan is perfect. We just have to trust in Him and not in ourselves. He knows every bump and curve that we will encounter along the way and He has already worked them out for us.

God is unchanged and He is a God of stability and assurance. He is active in our everyday lives and all that He does for us is good. We need not try to add/subtract one ounce from it. This life we live, it is His story. Let Him write it.

Prayer: Heavenly Father, we know that Your plans for our lives is perfect, for You make no mistakes. You know who You have created us to be and what You have designed us to do in this life. Help us to trust You when we don’t understand Your plan and to trust that all things will work out in Your good timing. Thank you for being the Rock that we can stand firmly upon and proclaim Your gospel to the world, through living for You and not our own selfish desires. Thank You that what You do for us will last forever. For You deserve all of the glory and honor, forever. Amen.
