Good morning Heavenly Father and thank you for a new day full of grace and mercies. I had this dream, several actually but this one in particular stands out. As I meditate on it Lord I ask that You give me the revelation and meaning that I may gain wisdom and even guidance of Your perfect will.
I dreamed that I helped someone build a tree and painted it all green from the leaves to the bark. The tree had eyes and could move. There were some people that passed by an laughed because the tree was green. They told me that trees aren’t all green. I said that this tree was special and made to be peculiar. As I watched the tree stand tall in its place some thing passed by that caught its eye and the tree began to follow this thing. I don’t know what the thing was as I couldn’t see it clearly. Then the tree chased faster and faster until there was a snap back at the ground where the trees roots and base were. The base had been uprooted and the tree fell dead. It did not topple over dead, it shriveled up, down to the ground and all I could see was the leaves turning from green to brown.
All of a sudden the leaves started turning to look like a large patch of grass that was growing and turning green again. I lifted up a part of the patch to find that the tree had ended up over some water. And although it had died, it was now springing into anew life from this living water. The tree grew back but was not just as the tree that I had helped build but it was a new tree surrounded by luscious green grass and it had a nice wooden fence all the way around the grass so that there was a perfect circle of grass and protection round about it.
I was able to sit next to the tree and watch it with these pretty eyes and full branches with bright green leaves on it. It hadn’t spoken a word up to this point. Then a baby tree showed up and I was asked to watch over it. To nurture it with the medicine it needed to grow. The small tree played and bounced and when it was curios of what was outside of the fence I assured it that is was to stay inside because it was safe there. I had not given the medicine correctly all the time as it reminded me of how I neglect to take my own medication always or on time. The mother tree then awoke and asked me had I followed the instructions given correctly and I was not honest about it. Even though the small tree was lively and healthy looking I was afraid to say that I had not done right at all times. So I lied and said yes. (That hurts me for real and even though it is a dream I feel condemned by it.) But I could feel that the mother tree knew the truth an had taken care from afar where I had lacked. She forgave me and allowed me to continue there with her and the small tree. They were very happy there together.
What I understand from this is, I was made by God and I am connected to Him at the root and He alone is the source of my life. But when I take my focus off of Him and chase after something fleshly I can be uprooted by my strong desire for that thing and lose my life in Christ. When that happens I am no longer alive but dead. And dead in sin.
BUT and it is always great when God or Jesus’ name follows a but. BUT God who is rich in mercies loves me enough to save me with His living water of life. He has restored me and has made me new. See the tree became a new tree with new bark and new leaves and He even added lush green grass. Then He will protect me from all harm and danger. See even though it was a small wooden fence that didn’t look like much to the eyes it was built by the power of God. An nothing can penetrate , tear down or brake what God has built up.
Not only that but now this tree was renewed, revived, and built on a firm and solid foundation. The word of God is a firm and solid foundation. And there is surety that when you stand on His word and His truth that we can have life and life more abundantly. And know that His promises He will bring to pass. So even though we may have fallen short of God’s expectation for our life. We yet have this God that does not give up on us, it is usually we who give up on ourselves and allow the enemy to claim victory over us. But be assured that he does not have the victory, it is already won in our favor. All we have to do is trust in that solid foundation of Jesus Christ, stand boldly and walk like we have the victory, talk like we have the victory, and like like we have the victory and the battle is already won.
Prayer: Thank you oh Lord that You love us and You have made it in your image. Born into sin You sent a Savior to redeem us that we may be born a new creation. You have given us a firm foundation on which we can stand as You protect us from all hurt, harm and danger. Thank You that You know us and the choices that we will make that cause us to hurt ourselves and give place to an enemy who seeks to devour us. You protect us. Jesus open our eyes that we might see You and know You as a light of hope in a dark place. In Jesus name I pray, amen.
To God be the glory for the things He has done. Amen
“But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us,”
Ephesians 2:4 KJV
Psalms 93:1
The LORD reigns, He is clothed with majesty; The LORD has clothed and girded Himself with strength; Indeed, the world is firmly established, it will not be moved.
Colossians 2:13-15
When you were dead in your transgressions and the uncircumcision of your flesh, He made you alive together with Him, having forgiven us all our transgressions, having canceled out the certificate of debt consisting of decrees against us, which was hostile to us; and He has taken it out of the way, having nailed it to the cross. When He had disarmed the rulers and authorities, He made a public display of them, having triumphed over them through Him.

Woman of God on a mission to spread love most of all, kindness and the truth about the Savior. I thank Him daily for saving and keeping me, bringing me into the knowledge of Him and steadily making intercession for me on behalf of the Father. Every lesson that I give goes to me first. I speak not as though I am different but that I am the same as any other follower of Christ, seeking wisdom and understanding from God and depending on Him fully to provide everything that I need in this life.
