Just about every morning when I am waking up, meaning I am still in a state of being sleep but I am slightly aware the I and waking up, I can hear a song down in my spirit. I believe that is the Holy Ghost and my inner man in tune with each other and they are meeting me in the beginning of a new day. I trust that the song that I sing is a clue as to where my heart and mind is the moment I enter the state of consciousness. This mornings song was a tune I remember singing as a little girl in the choir at church called “Silver and Gold”. It is a simple tune to me and I was oh so happy to hear it and that my soul and heart was in the right place.
Job 22:25 (Amplified Bible)
And make the Almighty your gold and [the Lord] your precious silver treasure,
The song simply says that I ‘d rather have Jesus than silver and gold., no fame or fortune, no riches untold, I’d rather have Jesus than silver and gold.
Exodus 20:23 Amplified Bible
You shall not make [gods to share] with Me [My glory and your worship]; gods of silver or gods of gold you shall not make for yourselves.
In the bible silver and gold was the currency in which the people used to purchase things. Today we use coins and paper , but the meaning to me is still the same. In my heart I choose not to worship money but to worship the Son of God. In Him every need is met. When I say need I do not mean just our material needs but our every need. Money does not make people happy but God is the source of all happiness and joy.
So in Christ Jesus I have all that I need and He is all that I can give to you.
Acts 3:6
Amplified Bible
But Peter said, Silver and gold (money) I do not have; but what I do have, that I give to you: in [the use of] the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, walk!

Woman of God on a mission to spread love most of all, kindness and the truth about the Savior. I thank Him daily for saving and keeping me, bringing me into the knowledge of Him and steadily making intercession for me on behalf of the Father. Every lesson that I give goes to me first. I speak not as though I am different but that I am the same as any other follower of Christ, seeking wisdom and understanding from God and depending on Him fully to provide everything that I need in this life.
