Are you feeling paralyzed? Are you feeling like you want to go forward but you can’t? 2 steps forward and 5 steps back???
Fear. The culprit is fear. President FDR said it Best this way,
“So, first of all, let me assert my firm belief that the only thing we have to fear is fear itself-nameless, unjustified, unreasoning terror which paralyzes needed efforts to convert retreat into advance…”
Key words in this phrase…”paralyzes needed efforts to convert retreat into advance”
If you are feeling stuck, stagnate, paralyzed or just unable to progress forward…if we are honest…there is fear.
And before you remind yourself that “…God has not given us the spirit of fear…”
I want you to think on this…

The presence of fear is not bad…when it pushes you toward the God that can show you how to go forward without hindrance!!!
Judges 7:1-11 is a passage about Gideon, and how God dwindled his army of 32,000 down to 300. With odds like that against and army of 30k+…fear can be inevitable!!! I. This passage, i want to highlight this to you…
Judges 7:9-10 (KJV) And it came to pass the same night, that the LORD said unto him, Arise, get thee down unto the host; for I have delivered it into thine hand.10. But if thou fear to go down, go thou with Phurah thy servant down to the host:
1. The Lord KNOWS you are afraid!!! He acknowledges the fear Gideon has, whether Gideon wanted to admit it or not. See, God knows you are afraid to _____________ (insert fear here)
But, God still commissions Gideon to
2. Go anyway
Gideon, i know you are afraid, but go anyway!!! I have ALREADY given you the victory, but go…so you can see that you have no need to be paralyzed by fear!!!!
This week, face your fears!! You WILL SURVIVE!!!! Be paralyzed no more!!! Hesitate no more!! God said go!! Even if you are afraid….go!! Start the business! Record the cd!! Write AND PUBLISH THE BOOK!!! I gave you victory over critics, doubters and those envious blockers!! Go! Step out! And trust God’s provision of victory!!!
