7 Scriptures to Conquer Your Fear
Fear is one of the biggest tricks the enemy used to keep you from the will of God and from living a life of freedom in the liberty of Christ. And most times when you are afraid of moving in what God has for you it is because the enemy knows the power that you have. And if you fully operate in that power it means victory for you and the loss of a soul or many souls for him.
Here are seven scriptures to speak over yourself when you feel fear:
2 Timothy 1:7 – For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.
Isaiah 41:10 – Fear thou not; for I [am] with thee: be not dismayed; for I [am] thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.
Psalms 34:4 – I sought the LORD, and he heard me, and delivered me from all my fears.
Proverbs 29:25 – The fear of man bringeth a snare: but whoso putteth his trust in the LORD shall be safe.
Romans 8:15 – For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father.
Psalms 56:3-4 – What time I am afraid, I will trust in thee. 4 In God I will praise his word, in God I have put my trust; I will not fear what flesh can do unto me.
1 John 4:18 – There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love.
One of the greatest examples of fearlessness is in the very familiar story of David and Goliath. Because David put his total trust in God for who he was and what he had already done in David’s life, he was able to trust God and slay the opposition. This was not just for himself but for an entire army and kingdom. Whatever God has for you be it big or small, face it with courage because God is always with you.
