Wonderful Wednesday

Wonderful Wednesday

On today may God shed his wonderful light of love on you and your hearts be filled with gladness and joy. His word says, I have hid thy word in my heart that I might not sin against thee. Today let the word of God saturate our hearts and minds so that the will of Him that created us may be done. This journey is one day at a time so focus on the moments that you find yourself in now. Let go of the past and  worry not about the future. For Jesus will take care of them both.

Too often we give those things that burden us to God only to pick them back up when we feel like He hasn’t answered our prayers about it. We toss and turn and are then consumed by our issues when His word says to come to him and give him our burden so that we may rest. There are some things in my life currently that I have wrestled God with and I admit that I give it to him an have taken it back. In doing so I struggled with it. When we do this it also gives the enemy an opportunity to torment us with it an unforgiveness can take the place of love in our hearts.

So today as we read an meditate on these two words lord fill us with more of you. Touch us where we have hardened our hearts that they become soft, filled with compassion and forgiveness. And at the end of the day may you be pleased with all that we have done. In Jesus name, Amen.

Psalm 119:11 (KJV)

11 Thy word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against thee.

Matthew 11:28-30King James Version (KJV)

28 Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.
29 Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls.
30 For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.
